Our sawmill is running daily, sawing out lumber for sale to our customers or for use in our wood shop. We have many species of lumber being sawn out, including oak, maple, pine, poplar and hemlock. Lumber sizes range from half inch thick boards to 1x dimensional lumber, 2x lumber and even live edge slabs.

We are not in the market for selling standard 2×4 and 2×6 dimensional lumber though. We cannot compete with larger sawmills on quantity and price. Where we can compete and beat the larger sawmills is on most other lumber sizes and live edge slabs.

Our lumber is generally of much higher quality than that of many big box stores because we are not mass processing truck loads of logs per hour. Our quality control is better and we hand select flawed boards to be removed from being sold.

Our lumber is cut slightly larger than that of the big box stores as well. This in part allows for shrinking while drying. And it also gives you some leeway when building your projects and planing your wood down at home. We can also saw lumber to your personal specifications. We can fill your order for interior paneling and trim. We are able to produce fine quality shiplap, tongue and groove or trim. We have a growing selection of knives and cutters for making custom trim and framing boards.
